Making His Dreams Come True

Well this is my first ever blog so be nice to me please. A little about me. My name is Jennifer, I am a mother of one son Dustin. He is my life, everything I do, I do for him. I am trying very hard to make his dreams come true. Hence the title. I am 35 years old, but still feel very young at heart. Dustin is 11 years old, but sometimes going on 30...lol.
This October I am making one of his dreams come true. I was able to get tickets or rather (paperless tickets) to Miley Cyrus. He's always wanted to see her, and I never thought I would be able to make that happen cause once the scalpers get their greedy hands on the tickets there's now way I can get them. Thankfully Miley did this paperless tour, and I was able to snatch 2 tickets. This is not his first concert/show, but the one he wanted the most. In March I took his to see The White Tie Affair, they were awesome. Dustin got to meet them after the show, which was amazing for him. They were so nice to him, they singed stuff and took pictures with him. Later I sent them the pictures and they wrote us back and posted the pictures on their myspace. Dustin thought that was the coolest thing ever. Then in May we went to see Katy Perry, gosh she puts on a great show. Dustin wanted to meet her so bad, he waited out side for 3 hours hopping to meet her. It didn't happen though. :( They pulled the airport shuttle van in and closed the gate. He was bummed. I think cause he met The White Tie Affair guys he thinks he can meet all artist he sees. Now were going to Miley's concert, and he's hoping to meet her too. It makes me sad that he will be disappointed again. I have been trying to tell him that chances are not very good that he will get to meet her, but he says she likes to meet her fans, and thinks that he will get a chance if we go early or stay late after the concert. I sure wish I could make it happen for him. Oh well I guess we'll just stand outside of the place for several hours till he's ready to give up. The things I'll do for him. Does that make me a good mom? I hope so.
Thanks for reading.
